| F.56A BA313 at Hyderabad; Jagan Mohan | F.56A BA317 at Leh, 2003; Arun Sharma/Warbirds of India |
| On display here since January 1997, BA313 bears the name "Rasne" and is displayed in the markings of No.20 Thunderbolt Squadron, outside the Officers Mess of the College of Air Warfare. | Argh - even Hunters can succumb to boring old air defence grey schemes! This one is displayed outside the entrance to the Indian Air Force station at Leh and doesn't look to be in the best condition, with canopy painted over, a false painted radar nose, cannon bay panelled over and ruddy great poles stuck into the fuselage to keep her up. Information current as of 2003. |

| F.56A BA357 at Dehradun, 10th April 2001; Sqn Ldr Deepak Chopra/WarbirdsOfIndia.com | F.56A BA360 at Bamrauli; IAF/Warbirds of India |
| The RIMC has BA357 on display at its premises in Dehradun. Presented by the then-Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal N C Suri, the aircraft is in excellent condition complete with intake covers. | Dramatically displayed outside the Central Air Command HQ at Bamrauli AFS is BA360. This aircraft served with No.20 'Lightnings' Squadron but is displayed in a rather anonymous natural metal scheme. Information current as of 2003. |

| F.58 712 at Kemble, August 30th 1999; author | F.58 843 at RAF Fairford, displaying at IAT 96; Nick Challoner |
| For a few years we in the UK were lucky enough to enjoy the Royal Jordanian Air Force Historic Flight's aircraft on the airshow circuit. Sadly they have now all departed for Jordan, 712 being the last one to go. She's seen here taking off at Kemble during the Delta Jets Flying Day, and left the UK three weeks later. | Another Royal Jordanian Air Force Historic Flight aircraft is F.58 843. As with T.7 800, this aircraft has now gone to Jordan and is seen here at the 1996 International Air Tattoo. |

| F.58 G-PSST at Kemble, 22nd July 2001; author | F.58 J-2001 at Kemble, 22nd July 2001; author |
| A Hunter with a rather spectacular paint scheme is G-PSST, yet another ex-Swiss example. Owner Jonathan Whaley wanted to go with an unusual civilian scheme rather than keeping the military markings and this 're-entry' paintjob is truly something to behold. Unfortunately in June Jon had a brush with disaster during a hard landing after a display in Eire, and the tailskid went through the rear fuselage. Luckily Jon had had the outer drop tanks removed shortly before this or they would have been ripped off too. This put Miss Demeanour (as the aircraft is named) out of action for some months while the rear fuselage was replaced; in April 2000 the work was complete and she visited Hurn to have it painted, and then returned to Kemble just before Delta's first open day of 2000. Miss D also has her own web site. Very popular at airshows, she sadly missed out on the 2003 Classic Jets show at Kemble due to engine problems. | AVAC's F.58, J-4095, was marked up as J-2000 and called the "Millenium Hunter" for obvious reasons. Now it's 2001 though, the serial has been changed to J-2001 in honour of the Hunter's 50th birthday year. She's seen here taking off as part of the celebrations at Kemble. |

| F.58 J-4006 at Hamilton; Ian Russell | F.58 J-4007 at Interlaken, 2001; Urs Stoller |
| Lovingly looked after at the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum is J-4006, complete with replica underwing rockets - the only preserved ex-Swiss example I've seen actually carrying them. J-4006 was originally built (in 1955) as an F.6 for the RAF but never entered squadron service and was sold on to the Swiss Air Force and delivered to them, converted to F.58 standard, in 1958. J-4006 has a web site of her own courtesy of one of her maintainers, Ian Russell; she also has a page on the CWH web site here. | F.58 J-4007 is one of twelve Hunters converted from RAF F.6s and delivered to the Swiss Air Force in 1958. Operated from Interlaken Air Base for many years until retirement in December 1993, it was acquired by the local HunterVerein on 10th June, 1995. Maintained in excellent condition with a wide selection of underwing stores, the society hope to return it to airworthy condition in the years ahead. The words 'Fifty golden years of Hawker Hunter 1951-2001' were recently painted on the nose, and '10-6-95 Happy hunting HUVER' on the drop tank. |
