Hunter F.56A BA241 at New Delhi, July 2000; Jagan Mohan/WarbirdsOfIndia.com

This aircraft was presented to the Modern School by the then-Air Chief S K Mehra in 1991. She's in good condition and is externally complete with ejection seat and assorted intake covers, though unfortunately no tailpipe cover so the students have used her as a litter bin. Three plaques adorn the blocks in front of the aircraft, one about the presentation, one about the role of the maintenance wing who transported the aircraft here and one showing the aircraft's history.
