10th January 2012 Well, a bit of a gap between major updates once again! 2011 found me a little busy with a new addition to the household - young Dominic - but I've been conscious of neglecting this site somewhat (beyond sporadic survivor updates). Accordingly, you'll find the site has undergone a rather large revamp. This means a new look, also the upgrading of the Phantom and Sea Hawk sections (so expect lots of survivor updates on these in due course), plus some new pages - Lightning models (work in progress, larger scales to come), TSR2 models (my TSR2 book has sold very well over the last year or so and has received consistently good reviews; if you haven't got your copy yet, why not?!), updates to many of the airfield viewing guides (sadly 2010-2011 saw the retirement of several British military aircraft - after losing the Jaguar in 2007 we've now added the Dominie, Nimrod and Harrier to the list and the airfields of Kinloss, Wittering, Cottesmore and Lyneham have fallen silent). There have been various minor updates all over the place, too many to list. The next job is to bring a lot of the walkaround photo galleries up to scratch with more recent photos - some of the old shots in use are desperately in need of replacing. Bear with me!

22nd January 2011 The RAF Waddington viewing guide has been updated.

19th January 2011 The RAF Cranwell viewing guide has been updated. The RAF's last Dominies retire tomorrow!

9th January 2011 Happy New Year everybody. With the excellent Airfix 1/48 Sea Vixen model kit now out, I have taken the opportunity to update the Sea Vixen walkaround with further coverage of the engines, the avionics bays within the tail booms as well as other areas.

1st December 2010 The RAF Barkston Heath viewing guide has been updated.

27th November 2010 The RAF Cottesmore viewing guide has been updated. Make the most of it - only two weeks or so left to watch the RAF's Harriers flying!

1st November 2010 The Vulcan section of the site has been upgraded to the new format along with a few survivors updates. Contributions - you know what I'm going to say - welcome as always!

9th October 2010 The Gnat section of the site has been upgraded to the new format along with a mass of survivors updates. Contributions welcome as always! Apologies for the long gap between major updates here - was rather busy finishing off my new book on the TSR2 which is published in a couple of weeks time.
