Hunter F.51 E-423 at Lasham, 9th September 2007; Richard E Flagg

Another F.51, E-423, which was one of very few that retained its orginal colours (more or less) for time. She was kept on display at Lasham with several other aircraft of which were pretty much all in a fairly poor state. The lack of funds for the museum and lack of visitors certainly didn't help the situation. is, along with many of the aircraft at Lasham, in a fairly poor state.

The museum closed in 2010 with the airframes finding their way to different homes. E-423 departed in October 2010 for Enstone, where she was stored outside for just less than a year before moving to Wycombe Air Park. This was only a brief visit before the airframe was exported to Abu Dhabi.

There is very little information today on E-423 current condition, but hopefully, she is being well looked after.
