Jaguar T.2 ZB615 at RAF Cosford, 9th June 2024; Jake Wallace

ZB615 was the last British Jaguar to be built, not flying until 23rd September 1982. She served all of her flying career as a trials aircraft, initially with the Royal Aircraft Establishment at Farnborough, including duties with the Institute of Aviation Medicine.

Her smart 'raspberry ripple' paint scheme was replaced with a more modern refreshed version in 1994, and she lost her RAE titles and badge as she moved to join the Empire Test Pilots School at Boscombe Down. Among the many duties, she performed there was a chase aircraft for the various Harrier II variants. She was retired in November 2005 and had turned up at RAF Cranwell by March 2009, spending some time as a ground runner there before joining the other Jaguars at Cosford.
