Hunter F.6 XG274 at Foxhall, 19th March 2022; Richard E Flagg

First flying in 1956 and retiring in November 1981 where it became a ground instructional airframe at No.1 SoTT Halton as 8710M.

In 1993, XG274 was purchased by Everett Aero and was moved to the Ipswich area for storage. After the airframe was acquired by a private collector, it was moved to Newmarket, Suffolk during 2001 for restoration. Since 2001, little was heard of XG274, until late 2021 when it came out of hiding and was moved to Foxhall as part of the Suffolk Aviation Heritage Group. The airframe was stored outside temporarily but has since been moved undercover, where the group hopes to begin restoring it.
