Phantom F-4C 63-7414 at Baginton, 1st December 2019; Damien Burke

63-7414 served with the USAF's 4453rd Combat Crew Training Wing and ended its active life with the New York ANG, retiring in 1986. Used as a BDRT airframe at RAF Woodbridge, it was eventually placed on loan from the USAF to the Midland Air Museum. For many years it was stored there in a dismantled state, used only for spares for the Museum's other F-4. Sadly, her wing spars were cut by the company who moved the aircraft, so the wings were just propped up alongside her for her time in storage. In 2019 some movement occurred - the area was cleared up and the fuselage has been placed on stands with some restoration work beginning.
