Jaguar GR.1 XX743 at RAF Cosford, 25th April 2019; Alan Wilson

XX743 first flew in October 1974 and was delivered to the RAF a month later.

The aircraft made its last flight into Shawbury in early 1985 where it was put into storage but was soon transferred to Halton under the serial 8949M where it was used for ground instructional training. In September 1994 it was moved to the No.2 School of Technical Training (SoTT) based at RAF Cosford.

XX743 has remained at RAF Cosford ever since, and could occasionally be seen as a part of the static displays at the RAF Cosford Airshow. In July 2022, the aircraft was put up for disposal, and by November of that year had made its way to Morayvia.
