Advert for the Midge. No takers? Ahead of their time... F-16 adverts were pretty similar stuff! With the Gnat in the air, though, things were going well - and Dunlop were proudly advertising their part in the aircraft. More success selling the Gnat... ...and another Gnat advert. 1976, and an RAF recruitment advert making use of the RAF's most visible recruitment aid!

I was stationed at RAF Valley Angelsy
N. Wales in the mid 60's when these were used by the RAF to train piolts .
