Jaguar GR.1A XZ119 at National Museum of Flight, 24th June 2022; Adam Poultney

XZ119 first flew on 18th May 1976. In March 1991, the airframe alongside others was temporarily repainted into desert pink colour for the Gulf War, where it took part in 39 missions.

XZ119 made her last flight into RAF Cranwell where she was used for ground training as 9266M. The airframe was also repainted back into her gulf war colours. When the RAF had finished with the airframe in 2009, she was gifted to the National Museum of Flight. Since XZ119 arrived at the museum, she has been kept under cover ever since, apart from once around 2015 when she was temporarily moved outside for some time. Thanks to the aircraft being kept inside, she is in really good condition.
