Jaguar GR.1A XX979 at Neatishead, 8th April 2014; Damien Burke

XX979 first took to the skies on the 27th January 1976 and retired at St Athan for storage in September 1999. The airframe was pulled out of storage in 2002 and was road moved to RAF Coltishall as 9306M. XX979 was used for spares recovery during 2005 with it being scrapped, thankfully the cockpit was saved.

The cockpit was transported to the RAF Neatishead Radar Museum in 2006 and has been seen on display by visitors ever since.
