First flown on 24th November 1975, XX967 was delivered to the RAF in January 1976 and flew with 14 Squadron, RAFG Brüggen. When the squadron re-equipped with the Tornado, XX967 was delivered to storage at RAF Shawbury in October 1985.

She retired to ground instructional use at 2 SoTT, RAF Cosford in October 1989, and still remains at Cosford to this day.

Recently, XX967 was moved into external storage alongside several other Jaguar airframes, no longer being used for instructional purposes with the possibility of being put up for disposal in the near future.
