Built as a GR.1 and first flown on 7th October 1975, XX958 was delivered to RAF Bruggen on 24th October 1975, entering service with 14 Sqn, coded AH. She was transferred to 17 Sqn, coded BK, in December 1983. Her active life was a short one, being retired to storage at RAF Shawbury in March 1985. In 1990 she was chosen for use as a ground instructional airframe and moved to No.2 School of Technical Training at RAF Cosford and remains there to this day.
