First flight on the 25th November 1974, the airframe was used as a test aircraft for the majourity of it's life before retiring to RAF Coltishall in the 2000s and be reduced to a nose section. It was then moved to Coltishall Cockpit collection for display.

XX830 moved to the City of Norwich Aviation Museum in by 2007, the cockpit can still be seen on display at the museum today in great condition!
