Canberra B.2 WD954 at St Mawgan, 4th March 2009; Richard E Flagg

Delivered in 1951 and was converted to a T.4 several years later, this resulted in this original B.2 nose being removed from the fuselage. The cockpit was moved to No.2 Radio School in Yatesbury for intructional use before being moved to Bicester as a travelling exhibit for the RAF Exhibition Flight.

In 1971 the nose was sold to the Lincs Aviation Museum, Tatershall but was moved, in 1988, to the Licolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre. She's changed hands a lot since then - to the Cockpit Collection, Chadwell Heath, Essex in June 1989, then Nigel Towler who sold it on the Sam Churchill, and in November 2002, WD954 moved again into the ownership of Paul Spann and Lisa Seed of Rossendale Lancashire. More recently she was sold to Barry Wallond who moved it to his home - 'Spitfire Corner' near Newquay. Stripped to bare metal for restoration, this sadly didn't appear to have progressed much before Barry passed away in 2018.

Current ownership and status of this nose section is uncertain - updates welcome.
