Vulcan B.1 ? at RAF Scampton Heritage Centre, 21st December 2022; Adam Poultney

Once noted and thought to be the cockpit of XA909, however, in more recent years it is thought to be either XA889, XA890, or, more likely, a nose section that never flew and never had an RAF serial.

During its time as a cockpit with the RAF, it was used as an escape trainer, before moving to Tattershall. The cockpit later moved to East Kirkby for display but moved again sometime after to Reigate, and later Doncaster.

It arrived at the RAF Scampton Heritage Centre around 2016/17, where it received a repaint and went on display alongside Vulcan cockpit XL445. Due to the closure of Scampton, it is unknown what the future currently holds for this cockpit.
