Nimrod MR.2 XV254 at Highland Aviation Museum, 15th September 2019; Mike Overs

Retired in March 2010, XV254 was scrapped at Kinloss on 27th July of that year, with the forward fuselage saved for display at the Highland Aviation Museum.

XV254 was put up for sale back in 2019 along with the rest of the Highland Aviation Museum collection. After almost 2 years of not being sold, Gary Spoors brought her for his museum, SWAM, down in St Athan. XV254 was delivered to her new home on 23rd February 2021 where she is now on display outside the main museum hangar.
