Simulator N/A - Newark Air Museum (procedures trainer), Newark, Nottinghamshire
Gnat Simulator N/A at Newark, 20th June 2010; Damien Burke
This is a procedures trainer for the Gnat; it was used by trainees to learn basic procedures such as emergency drills before getting into the real thing. Only three of these were built, this being the one the RAF used. The other two were used by the Indian Air Force - though since they retired the type one of their two has since been returned to the UK. As you can see it's on display next to Newark's complete Gnat, XR534.
