These pictures were kindly donated by Ray Deacon. They are for your personal use only and may not be reproduced or redistributed in any form. Ray has a sizeable collection of photos of aircraft, taken throughout his service in the RAF and available for publication - contact him for details.

  1. This RAF Honington-based 55 squadron Victor B.1A, XH590, was captured on film when taxiing in at Embakasi Airport (Nairobi) in October 1963 while on a lone-ranger training mission from the UK.
  2. The large air-ducts on the rear fuselage identify XH675 as being a Victor B.2. It bore no unit identification when this photograph was taken at RAF Khormaksar, Aden, in 1963.
  3. A late production mark 2 Victor, XM715 was operated by 100 Squadron based at RAF Wittering in 1963 and was photographed while passing through RAF Khormaksar.
