All of these pictures are of the F.4 procedures trainer cockpit section at the Southampton Hall of Aviation. Thanks to Kim Raquet and Dave Betteridge at the Hall for arranging special access including opening up the Swift cockpit, without which these pictures would not have been possible!

F.4

  1. Starting off perched on the port edge of the cockpit looking back at the seat top and canopy.
  2. Turning left and looking down at the seat pan and starboard console.
  3. Turning left again to get an overall view of the cockpit and the instrument panel. Overall finish of the cockpit is black (the scanner has given these pictures a green tint but it's definitely just plain black in real life), with paint scuffed off areas such as the floor revealing bare metal.
  4. Moving round to the other side for a closer look at the instrument panel and coaming.
  5. Finally, turning left to look back at the seat and canopy again.
