- The British Fighter since 1912 by Francis K. Mason published by Putnam,
ISBN 0-85177-852-6. An invaluable reference to British fighter aircraft,
includes several pages on the development of the Sea Hawk and related aircraft,
with black and white pictures and small plans diagram.
Highly recommended, though not purely as a Sea Hawk reference.
- Aeroplane Monthly, September 2002: Database - Sea Hawk; simply
a must-buy - development & service history, loads of piccies, scale plans, cutaway... absolutely
excellent collection of articles.
- Aircraft Modelworld, August 1985: Sea Hawk by Ken Wixey; article
with good development and service history with a good selection of black
and white pictures.
- Flight, November 1949: excellent article describing the Sea Hawk with
a nice cutaway.
- Flight, 19 February 1954: Sea Hawk in Service. Nice air to air pictures.
- RAF Flying Review, January 1957: article on the Sea Hawk with a nice cutaway
drawing.
- Scale Aircraft Modelling, May 1980: Aircraft In Detail article.
