| Simulator at Newark, 1998; author | F.1 GN-101 at Baginton, 2nd August 2003; Ian Haskell |
| A procedures trainer for pilots to learn the basics on the Gnat before getting into the real thing can be found on display at the Newark Air Museum. Information current as of 02/2003. | This is actually the fuselage of XK741, one of the F.1 development batch. For a change of colour the Midland Air Museum have carried out a cosmetic restoration and repainted her to represent the first Finnish F.1, GN-101. To be accurate it would need a sharper radar nose and this is a possibility for the future, along with remanufactured wings (the Museum sadly doesn't have the originals). They are also missing an ejector seat (T.1 seats are not suitable). Information current as of 02/08/2003. |

| T.1 XS100 at Fyfield, 12th April 2004; Mark Dunn | T.1 XS100 at South Kensington, 21st January 2003; Mike Tighe |
| See separate entry for XS100's nose section. The majority of XS100 is stored in an outbuilding in Fyfield, and not in very good condition at all. The wings are propped up against the outside of the building and becoming at one with nature - they've gone very green! Information current as of 12/04/2004. | Retired to instructional use as 8561M, XS100 has had possibility the strangest experience in retirement. First of all her back end was replaced with that of XP532, and then after disposal the nose was removed and put on display at the Andrew Martin International interior design store in London SW3. As you can see it's a bit hemmed in by furniture, but definitely not for sale! As for the rear fuselage, well that's in storage at Fyfield near Ongar. XS100's nose has been paint-stripped and polished to perfection, and the cockpit is nearly 100% complete. The nose light works, and a small light has been added to the pitot probe mount too. Information current as of 21/01/2003. |
